PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a degree of corrosion is underestimated in a conventional technology when a corrosive property is estimated from the degree of corrosion of a metal test piece exposed to the installation environment for a predetermined period in an electric and electronic equipment in which the corrosiveness of installation environment can be accurately estimated in a short period.SOLUTION: A corrosive environment monitoring apparatus includes a passage structure having one or more apertures and a metal thin film formed on a transparent substrate by a part of the wall surface of the passage structure, observes the metal thin film formed on the transparent substrate which is left in the measured environment, measures a shape and a dimension of the area where a color tone derived from a corrosion product of the metal thin film varies, and quantifies the corrosive property of the environment. |
