PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel capable of reducing image persistence even in color display and still picture display, and a display unit including the display panel.SOLUTION: The display panel comprises: a plurality of pixel circuits formed in a matrix on a substrate; an insulation layer covering the plurality of pixel circuits; a plurality of light-emitting elements connected to the plurality of pixel circuits and arranged in a matrix on the insulation layer; a filter layer; and a photo detector. The filter layer has a light transmission part in at least a part of a region opposed to each light-emitting element, and a light-shielding part formed in the same plane as the light transmission part, and is formed on an opposite side to the pixel circuit with respect to the light-emitting element. The photo detector is in a region opposed to the light-shielding part, and is formed between the light-emitting element and the filter layer. |
