PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a holding state of an operation device held by a user with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An operation device includes a housing and a holding part formed so as to be disposed on one side with respect to the center on a predetermined surface of the housing. An information processing system calculates an attitude of the operation device and determines the orientation of the holding part with respect to the center on the basis of the attitude of the operation device. The information processing system determines, for example, whether the holding part is on the right side or the left side with respect to the center. With this configuration, the information processing system can determine an operational state of the operation device used with high accuracy. |
