PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for a shock absorber, the oil composition especially having low friction coefficient between bronze and chromium and furthermore having a small worn area in the bronze, in order to prevent a piston rod and a guide bush in the shock absorber from being worn.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition for shock absorbers contains: (A) a base oil consisting of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil; and (B) a partial ester of a polyhydric alcohol, which has a 10-20C fatty acid residue that accounts for 0.05-10 mass% of the total mass of the composition. |
