PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing unit and an image forming device in which wrinkles of a recording medium is suppressed.SOLUTION: A fixing unit comprises: a cylindrical member that has a cylindrical shape, is rotated in a circumferential direction of a cylinder and is elastically deformed in a direction in which the cylinder is pressed down; a circulating member that has a cylindrical shape, circulates and moves in a circumferential direction of a cylinder, has flexibility greater than that of the cylindrical member and is pressed against the cylindrical member; a heat source for applying heat to a recording medium that holds an unfixed toner image on a surface and is held by the cylindrical member and the circulating member therebetween; a pressing member that is provided inside the cylinder of the circulating member and presses the circulating member against the cylindrical member from an inside; and an extruding member that is provided inside the cylinder of the circulating member and extrudes an end portion of the cylinder of the circulating member before being pressed by the cylindrical member with an extrusion amount greater than that of a central portion from the inside to a cylindrical member side at a position closer to an upstream side in a moving direction of the circulating member than the pressing member. |
