PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain waste in power consumption incurred by use of a plurality of image processing units.SOLUTION: An image pickup device comprises: an image sensor which outputs an image signal obtained by converting subject light from optical to electrical signal; a plurality of image processing circuits which can apply image processing to the image signal output from the image sensor; an interface unit, provided in one of the plurality of image processing circuits, which is connected to other apparatuses; and a control unit which, when an image signal is output successively from the image sensor and then an image-processed image signal which has had image processing applied thereto in each of the plurality of image processing circuits is output from the interface to the other apparatuses, changes the operating conditions of the plurality of image processing circuits on the basis of the output quantity at this time. |
