<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a service brake of a normal conducting attraction type magnetic leviation vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The service brake entirely shown by a symbol 400 includes a caliper brake device which operates on oil pressure. A pair of calipers disposed oppositely each other are supported freely slidably for the carbody side by a guiding lock. A piston of a hydraulic cylinder 411 attached on a bracket 410 presses a brake shoe of one side onto one side surface of a rail. A brake shoe on the other side connected by a rod is attracted to the other side surface of the rail and generates a braking force. The generated braking force is transmitted to a guiding skid bracket 470 attached on a magnet core 220 via a thrust rod 450. While the thrust rod 450 transmits a torsion together with the thrust, a ball bearing is interposed in a joint portion between the thrust rod 450 and the guiding skid bracket to prevent troubles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
