<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism desulfurization method preventing the clogging of a filling layer or the like by the precipitation of sulfur, and to provide an organism desulfurization apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the organism desulfurization method, a gas containing hydrogen sulfides and a circulation liquid are introduced into a gas/liquid contact column 10 provided with a gas/liquid contact part having a carrier 101 carrying sulfur oxidation bacteria, and gas/liquid contact is performed at the gas/liquid contact part to perform the organism desulfurization. The pH and the oxidation-reduction potential at an area of a lower part of the gas/liquid contact part are measured, an amount of the circulation liquid is controlled according to the measurement value of pH, and an amount of air introduced from below the gas/liquid contact column 10 is controlled according to the measurement value of the oxidation-reduction potential. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
