PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip-shaped tire reinforcing material which is formed by interweaving cords crossing one another between cord groups each having a plurality of the cords arrayed in parallel to one another for improving the durability performance of a pneumatic tire using the tire reinforcing material by suppressing not only separation in a side region of the tire reinforcing material but also separation in the center of the tire reinforcing material.SOLUTION: A tire reinforcing material is such a strip-shaped body that a cord group having a plurality of cords arrayed in parallel to one another and a cord group having a plurality of cords extending in directions crossing the cord extending direction of the cord group and arrayed in parallel to one another are coated with rubber. Both sides being 30% of the whole width of the strip-shaped body from both ends in the cross direction of the strip-shaped body have interweaving structures of differently crisscrossing one cord with another between the cord groups, continuously in the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped body, and a center section held between both sides has an overlapping structure of laying one cord on top of another between the cord groups. |
