PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the practicality of a hydraulic brake system including a regulator of such a type that both pirot pressure introduced via a pressure intensifying linear valve and servo pressure to be outputted depend on the pressure of a high pressure source device.SOLUTION: Target servo pressure Pis determined based on a necessary brake force, and based on the deviation of servo pressure Pwith respect to the target servo pressure P, an excitation current supplied to a pressure intensifying linear valve is determined. In relation to the pressure Pof a high pressure source device, the excitation current is limited on at least one side of a circumstance (RE1) in which an actual brake force cannot increase up to the necessary brake force and a circumstance (RE2) in which it is estimated that the brake force exceeds the necessary brake force. The occurrence (RE3) of an excessive brake force phenomenon and a control departure phenomenon can be prevented. |
