PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convey a welding ring to be disposed between a lid and an electronic component package.SOLUTION: A conveyor 400 sucks and holds a rectangular welding ring 30 supplied in a carry-in area by a suction head 100, moves the suction head 100 by a conveying mechanism, and thus conveys it to a carry-out area. The suction head 100 has a pair of component holding parts 108 to be a shape along one opposite side of the welding ring 30. Between the carry-in area and the carry-out area, a coating device 600 for applying adhesive paste N to the other opposite side of the welding ring 30 held by the suction head 100 is arranged. The coating device 600 includes a freely rotatable coating roller 610 whose rotary shaft 608 is parallel with the other opposite side of the welding ring 30 and which is capable of holding the adhesive paste N on a coating surface 610A of an outer circumference. The width of the coating surface 610 on the coating roller 610 is set smaller than the length of the other opposite side of the welding ring 30, and the coating surface 610A is simultaneously abutted on the other opposite side of the welding ring 30 and applies the adhesive paste N to the welding ring 30. |
