PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend duration of fuel cut by using power regenerated by a waste heat recovery device, and to further improve fuel consumption of a vehicle loaded with the waste heat recovery device. SOLUTION: When an accelerator pedal is released during traveling, an ECU 40 starts the fuel cut for stopping fuel injection for the engine 10, and when rotating speed of the engine 10 is lowered down to a fuel cut recovery rotating speed, the ECU 40 stops the fuel cut to restart the fuel injection for the engine 10. In the case that the power is regenerated by the waste heat recovery device (e.g. a rankine cycle system 20), the ECU 40 makes the fuel cut recovery rotating speed lower compared to the case where the power is not regenerated.
