PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying two-dimensional images in a stereoscopical display having enhanced depth feeling, individually in different directions.SOLUTION: A display device includes a panel like imaging optical element (micro mirror array 10), and a plurality of display placement surfaces Sna (S1a, S2a, ...) for placing a plurality of flat panel displays Dm (D1, D2, ...) thereon, respectively. Each of the display placement surfaces Sna is arranged below the micro mirror array 10, obliquely by a prescribed angle (α, &bgr;, ...) to the underside 10a of the array 10, so that light projected from each display Dm placed on each of the display placement surfaces Sna and transmitting the micro mirror array 10 forms an image (image I) displayed in each display Dm individually above the array 10 in a floating manner (spatial image I'). |
