PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, in a connecting device which is used for connecting an upper unit A and a lower unit B constituting a chimney and comprises a first connection ring attached to a lower end of the upper unit A and a second connection ring attached to an upper end of the lower unit B, and in which an inner circumferential surface of the first connection ring overlaps an outer circumferential surface of the second connection ring in a nested manner, whether both units are correctly connected or not cannot be easily checked.SOLUTION: A first connection ring includes a plurality of first projections which are inwardly squeezed projections equally spaced in a circumference direction on an inner circumferential surface, each having an upper face inclined with respect to a horizontal plane; and a second connection ring includes a plurality of second projections which are outwardly squeezed projections in the same number as the first projections, equally spaced in a circumference direction on an outer circumferential surface, each having a lower face having an inclination angle at which the lower face is in contact with the first projections at the same angle. The first connection ring is provided with a positioning pin that protrudes downward and loaded with a spring; and a recessed part is formed on the upper face of the second connection ring to receive the positioning pin. |
