PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly support a shift member in a tiltable manner in a shift device in which a shift position is changed by tilting the shift member.SOLUTION: In a shift lever device 10, a shift lever 52 is supported in a tiltable manner around a tilt shaft 58 by holding the tilt shaft 58 between a peripheral surface of a lower supporting hole 20 of a shift lever plate 12 and a peripheral surface of an upper supporting hole of a shift lever guide 26. A shift position of the shift lever 52 is changed by guiding the shift lever 52 to a guide hole 30 of a shift lever guide 26 and tilting the shift lever 52 while allowing the same to pass through a passage hole 64 of a cover 62. In this occasion, the shift lever guide 26 is made stronger than the cover 62. Further, when a load is input from the shift lever 52 to the shift lever guide 26, rotation of the shift lever guide 26 is locked by a shift lever plate 12, whereby the shift lever 52 can be properly supported in a tiltable manner. |
