PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a refrigerant from freezing even if a cooling air temperature is not more than a freezing point of the refrigerant inside a heat pipe, and to streamline cooling by leveling an effect of a change in heat distribution of semiconductor elements depending on an operating condition and an effect of a rise in cooling air temperature.SOLUTION: In a power conversion device, a plurality of semiconductor elements comprise a plurality of first IGBT modules which generate more heat during a regenerative operation, a plurality of second IGBT modules which generate more heat during a power operation, and a plurality of clamp diode modules which generate less heat than the IGBT modules, semiconductor elements which generate the same amount of heat are arrayed in a direction perpendicular to a flow of cooling air, and the clamp diodes are arranged between the first IGBT modules and the second IGBT modules along the flow of cooling air. |
