PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contents of printed data from being found by others and to prevent unnecessary disposal of printed media to achieve the reduction of running cost and resource-saving, by temporarily preserving printed media in an intermediate preservation part before disposal.SOLUTION: A printer for receiving data to print it on media includes: a printing unit which prints data; a storage part in which media printed by the printing unit are stored; an intermediate preservation part in which media carried out from the storage part are temporarily preserved; a disposal part in which media carried out from the intermediate preservation part and disposed of are stored; and a notification unit which notifies of information of the media. |
