PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method capable of efficiently purifying an acidic protein with excellent precision from a sample solution containing the acidic protein.SOLUTION: A purification method of purifying an acidic protein from a sample solution containing the acidic protein and contaminants consisting of substances other than the acidic protein includes: a first process of bringing the sample solution into contact with an adsorbent composed of fluoroapatite to adsorb the acidic protein with the adsorbent composed of fluoroapatite; and a second process of supplying an eluent to the adsorbent composed of fluoroapatite and fractionating a resultant eluate by a predetermined amount to purify the acidic protein in the fractionated eluate in each fraction. In the first process, the adsorbent is brought into contact with a Ca ion beforehand and/or substantially simultaneously when bringing the sample solution into contact with the adsorbent. |
