PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter which can be printed without using special ink, and protected from being copied even if using a recent high-resolution copy machine to thereby prevent counterfeiting, and in which the genuineness of the printed matter can be determined by tilting the printed matter and observing changes in an image thereon without requiring special equipment and tools.SOLUTION: A print image including a first image portion and a second image portion is formed on an uneven surface region of a substrate. The first image portion has a plurality of recesses in which first elements formed of a first coloring material are disposed. The second image portion is formed of the first coloring material, has a plurality of recesses in which second elements whose transfer amount of the coloring material per unit area is different from those of the first elements are disposed, and has smoothness different from that of the first image portion. |
