PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably collect vehicle information while permitting a third party to use the vehicle information.SOLUTION: A vehicle information collection system 1 comprises a center system 5 which collects vehicle information about a vehicle 4. The vehicle 4 comprises a first communication part 21 for the center for communicating the vehicle information with the center system 5 via a user terminal 8 and a second communication part 22 for a third party for communicating the vehicle information with a use terminal 8. A restriction part 23 stops provision and re-writing of the vehicle information once the number of communication operations between the second communication part 22 and the user terminal 8 exceeds a prescribed number. A notification part 24 restricts travel functions of the vehicle. When the user feels inconvenience and permits access to the center system 5 via the user terminal 8, the first communication part 21 transmits the vehicle information to the center system 5. Furthermore, when an authentication by the center system 5 is obtained, a determination processing part 25 resumes provision of the vehicle information to the user terminal 8 and re-writing of the vehicle information from the user terminal 8. |
