PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive hydraulic device capable of controlling pressure and flow rate of hydraulic oil by driving a hydraulic pump by means of an induction motor.SOLUTION: A hydraulic device includes: a hydraulic pump 5; an induction motor 4 for driving the hydraulic pump 5; an inverter device 3 for outputting a drive signal to rotate the induction motor 4; and a control device 2 for controlling the inverter device 3. When the hydraulic pump is driven by the induction motor, an inexpensive hydraulic device can be provided that is capable of controlling the pressure and flow rate of hydraulic oil by driving the hydraulic pump 5 by means of the induction motor 4 that is more inexpensive than expensive servomotors.
