PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a silane coupling agent is used to suppress the peculiar tackiness of a rubber solid material surface, but such a treatment needs severe conditions such as high temperature and thus, there is no rubber solid material whose surface is semipermanently covered with an inorganic filler through covalent bonding without thermally degrading, and also there is no method for very easily, inexpensively producing such surface-covered rubber solid material.SOLUTION: A rubber solid material whose surface is semipermanently covered with sulfur-carbon covalent bonding is obtained by chemically reacting a mercapto group-containing silane coupling agent and a rubber solid material having double bonds in water as a solvent. It is found that the rubber solid material is effective for such purpose, wherein in the rubber solid material, a ratio of the area of absorption spectral intensity near 1,100 cm-1 to that of absorption spectral intensity near a rubber-peculiar peak, measured utilizing FT-TR in an ATR method, is a certain value or higher,. |
