PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and automatically divide a right lung area in an image into areas of an upper lobe of lung, a middle lobe of lung and a lower lobe of lung. SOLUTION: The image processor automatically divides the right lung area RL in the image into the area R1 of an upper lobe, the area R2 of a middle lobe and the area R3 of a lower lobe, and includes a dividing means for dividing the right lung area into an upper lobe area and an area other than the upper lobe area, and for dividing the right lung area into the lower lobe area and an area other than the lower lobe area, and a middle lobe area acquiring means for acquiring the middle lobe area, using a result divided by the dividing means.
