PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing a malfunction and operation incapability caused by a connection abnormality such as a contact failure or the erroneous connection of the electrical connection of a detachably-mounted ink cartridge.SOLUTION: A plurality of terminals 210-270 are arranged on a circuit board 200 of an ink cartridge 100, and a plurality of lines are formed by contact portions of the plurality of terminals. In a first line among the plurality of lines, contact portions of two terminals for detecting attachment are arranged, and a contact portion of a power supply terminal is arranged therebetween. The first line may be arranged at a leading side when the ink cartridge is mounted to a printing device while moving in a predetermined direction. Alternatively, the first line may be the line closest to an opening 110op of an ink supply port 110. Alternatively, the first line may be the line closest to an ink supply needle. |
