PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance resolution of an image to improve image quality naturally.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a region extraction part that extracts pixels constituting a predetermined region from an input image; a directionality detection part that detects directionality corresponding to the region, on the basis of a value of the pixel in the extracted region; and a pixel moving part that moves the pixel in the region to a position different from that of the pixel in the input image on the basis of diffusion information including the detected directionality.
