PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict display quality degradation caused by floating particle groups in a dispersion medium.SOLUTION: An image display medium 10 comprises: a pair of substrates 1 and 2, at least one of which has light-transmissivity; a dispersion medium 6 sealed between the substrates 1 and 2; particle groups 11 and 12 of a plurality of types, different in color from each other, charged in the same polarity, and dispersed in the dispersion medium; and a floating particle group 13 different in color from the particle groups 11 and 12 of the plurality of types, charged in the reverse polarity of them, moved in an opposite direction to the particle group of at least one of the types according to a voltage when the voltage is applied between the substrates 1 and 2 in order to move the particle group 11 or 12 of at least one of the plurality of types, and floating in the dispersion medium 6 without adhering to the pair of substrates 1 and 2. |
