PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition having extremely high shear stability compatibly with excellent low-temperature viscosity characteristics.SOLUTION: There is provided an α-olefin (co)polymer satisfying the following conditions (i), (ii) and (iii): (i) a structural unit derived from a 7-9C α-olefin is ≥75 mol% based on 100 mol% of the whole structural unit composing the α-olefin (co)polymer; (ii) the kinetic viscosity at 100°C is ≤1,500 mm/s; and (iii) an isotacticity by the triad expression in the α-olefin unit sequence part, as measured by the 13C-NMR method, is ≥50%. |
