METHOD FOR COATING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRO WETTING DISPLAY USING THE SAME

A hydrophobic film is formed on an upper surface of a substrate including a coating area, by a coating method. A hydrophilic area with the shape of surrounding the outside of the coating area is formed. An electrolyte membrane covering the hydrophobic film and the hydrophilic area is formed. Dewetting due to aggregation can be prevented and the electrolyte membrane can be formed on the hydrophobic film, by the method.
