PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inkjet recording head that improves a patterning property of a slit when the slit is provided in a protrusion of an outlet plate, and can form a desired slit.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a head includes: a substrate in which a plurality of electrothermal conversion elements 2 are aligned, that has an ink supply port; and an ejection outlet plate. In the method, an ink channel that communicates the plurality of ejection outlets with the ink supply port is formed by joining the ejection outlet plate on the substrate, and a protrusion having a slit at a position facing the ink supply port of the ejection outlet plate is included. The method includes steps of: forming an adhesiveness improved layer formed on the substrate; forming a mold material for forming an independent slit; forming a mold material of the ink channel; forming a nozzle material being an ejection outlet plate on the mold material; forming the ink supply port; and forming the protrusion having the slit in the ink channel and the ejection outlet plate by removing the mold material. |
