VISUAL INDICATOR AND COMPONENT HAVING PASSIVE RFID ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively supply electric power in a component including an RFID element and a visual indicator.SOLUTION: The component in which a passive RFID function is incorporated is provided. A passive RFID element supplies electric power to the visual indicator based on reception of an external RF signal. In order to supply electric energy to the visual indicator, a passive energy storage device can be used. The passive energy storage device can be charged by the external RF signal. An electric signal sent by the RFID element changes the visual indicator between a first display state and a second display state in accordance with a predetermined temporal pattern. Since energy sufficient for supplying electric power to the visual indicator is collected by signal intensity of the external RF signal, a duty cycle of the predetermined temporal pattern is controlled.
