PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal including a touch panel, which can prevent an erroneous operation at the start of operation performed by using the touch panel.SOLUTION: In the portable terminal, when a call is received (Yes in S101, Yes in S103) while the display device of the touch panel is OFF and the input device is OFF, the display device is turned ON (S105) causing a sensor for detecting proximity to start operating (S109). When an adjacent object is detected (Yes in S109), the input device is left OFF intact and, when no adjacent object is detected (No in S109), the input device is turned ON (S113). |
