PURPOSE:To improve temp. sensitivity by etching a copper-lined capton sheet, exposing radial copper wires, and connecting constantan to them. CONSTITUTION:A copper-lined capton sheet 1 is etched to expose radial copper wires 2. The ends of the copper wires 2 are welded with constantan wires 3 in such a way that the whole is formed in a star-shape. Lead wires 4 are connected to the ends of both materials at the outside. In this manner, plural pairs of thermocouples are connected in series and the temp. difference between the central part and the peripheral part is detected with very good sensitivity. |
