PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output control apparatus for a vehicle capable of calculating torque that an internal combustion engine can output without increasing the memory capacity of an ECU. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: setting a clip value for restricting a maximum value for a variation of an intake air flow rate due to pulsation in a full open region by an electronic control throttle valve in engine rotation speed Ne in an air flow sensor clip value setting block (B110a); setting an EGR rate in an EGR rate setting block (B110b) based on the clip value and an A/F value in an A/F value setting block (B110c), respectively; calculating an equivalent ratio from the EGR rate and the A/F value in an equivalent ratio calculation block (B110d); and calculating a maximum Pi from the clip value, the equivalent ratio, and an ignition timing correction value in a maximum Pi calculation block (B110d).
