PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide endoscopic bipolar forceps for sealing and/or cutting a large tissue structure.SOLUTION: Endoscopic bipolar forceps comprise: a housing 20; a shaft 12 that is jointed to the housing, has jaw members 110 and 120 at a distal end and has a defined longitudinal axis; a drive assembly that includes a drive sleeve capable of selectively moving forward and is configured so as to move the jaw members with respect to each other from a first position where the jaw members are spaced apart from each other to a second position where the jaw members are closer to each other for tissue engineering; a movable handle 30 that is rotatable about a pivot and moves the jaw members between the first position and the second position by pushing a drive flange of the drive assembly; and a knife assembly that is capable of selectively moving forward and includes a knife bar for cutting tissue between the jaw members by moving a knife. |
