PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent runout of a wire, which is caused by the jet flow of a working fluid that is supplied from a working fluid supply mechanism in a working fluid tank.SOLUTION: A system for machining a workpiece by causing electrical discharge between a wire and the workpiece includes a working fluid tank for storing a working fluid that is used for the electrical discharge machining performed between the workpiece and the wire. The working fluid tank includes: a working fluid supply mechanism for supplying the working fluid into the working fluid tank; and a fluid flow control mechanism for controlling the flow of the working fluid supplied from the working fluid supply mechanism so as to reduce the jet flow of the working fluid in the working fluid tank, which is caused by the working fluid supplied from the working fluid supply mechanism. The fluid flow control mechanism is provided between the wire and the working fluid supply mechanism.
