PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine control system that is easy to operate and is prevented from being influenced by an electromagnetic noise.SOLUTION: The washing machine control system that is excellent in operability and in which an influence of an electromagnetic noise is eliminated can be achieved by the following. The washing machine for performing communication with a terminal device 28 by radio is provided with: a control part 39 for controlling operation or communication of the washing machine 29; and an operation display part 37 that is arranged at an upper part of the washing machine and is extended to a horizontal direction. The operation display part has: a switch-on switch 26f for turning on power; a display part 27 for displaying contents of operation course setting; and a washing machine transmitting/receiving part 38 for communicating with the terminal device. The control part receives information on the operation course transmitted from a terminal transmitting/receiving part 33 of the terminal device at the washing machine transmitting/receiving part to control setting, displaying, and operation of the operation course. The switch-on switch is arranged at either a left or right side of the operation display part. The washing machine transmitting/receiving part is arranged at the either a left or right side of the operation display part that is opposite to the arrangement position of the switch-on switch.
