PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the energy for recovering carbon dioxide by effectively performing heat recovery from a lean liquid and carbon-dioxide-containing steam with a rich liquid.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus which comprises: a flow dividing device 107 for dividing a first rich liquid discharged from an absorption tower 101 into a second rich liquid and a third rich liquid; a regenerative heat exchanger 103 for heating the second rich liquid using a lean liquid discharged from a desorption tower 102A as a heat source; a heating part for heating the third rich liquid using carbon dioxide-containing steam desorbed from the desorption tower 102A as a heat source; a gas-liquid separator 132 for separating the carbon dioxide-containing steam into carbon dioxide and condensed water; a measurement part 401 for measuring the amount of condensed water in the gas-liquid separator 132; and a control part 402 for adjusting the flow dividing ratio in the flow dividing device 107 on teh basis of the change in the amount of condensed water measured by the measurement part 401.
