PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device suitable for acquiring an image of a tabular object with a smooth surface and a processing device of a glass plate including the illumination device, having no difficulty detecting an object even if it is blank glass, and being compact and easily mounted to processing machinery even when an imaging area of a camera is expanded.SOLUTION: An illumination device includes a surface light source, a window provided in a substantially central part of the surface light source, a half mirror installed on a side opposite to an illumination object with respect to the window, and a second light source that irradiates the illumination object with light reflected on the half mirror through the window. The illumination device is installed between the illumination object and a camera that acquires an image of the illumination object with the surface light source being in parallel to a surface of the illumination object. The surface light source is a surface light source comprising an area larger than an imaging area of a camera 2, and the second light source is a surface light source comprising an area larger than the area of the window provided on the surface light source. |
