PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redundant system, enabling coping with multiple faults with a smaller number of standby devices than the number of active devices.SOLUTION: The redundant system includes: a plurality of active devices for communication traffic processing; a plurality of standby devices smaller in number than the number of the plurality of active devices; and a management device for monitoring the plurality of active devices, and in the event of a fault in any one of the active devices among the plurality of active devices, transferring communication traffic processing of the faulty active device to a standby device among the plurality of standby devices, to which communication traffic processing is not transferred. |
