PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for update of photography conditions, even if the rate of change in the photographic environment is greater than the recording frame rate, by tracking the change.SOLUTION: Based on the image data (YUV data) of a luminance color difference signal of a frame image contained in the first frames f12, f22, ... of a decimation frame, automatic exposure adjustment processing (AE) is performed. In parallel with this processing, automatic white balance adjustment processing (AWB) is performed, based on the image data (YUV data) of a luminance color difference signal of a frame image contained in the next frames f13, f23, ... of a decimation frame. Furthermore, in parallel with this processing, AF processing is performed with reference to the sharpness (contrast) of a subject detected by a frame image contained in the last frames f14, f24, ... of a decimation frame. |
