<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating the internal resistance component of a battery which can improve the accuracy of an internal resistance estimate, and thus improves the calculation accuracy of SOC which is battery capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for estimating the internal resistance component of a battery 5 constituted of a plurality of unit cells includes setting, as the internal resistance component of the battery 5, a diffusion polarization resistance in which a voltage caused by a uneven distribution of an ionic material due to the diffusion migration inside the battery 5 is taken into consideration; and estimating the diffusion polarization resistance, by using the changes in time of the concentration of the diffusion material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
