PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide therapeutic methods, compositions, and medicaments related to cyclosporine for abnormalities associated with lacrimal gland functions or with tearing, such as dry eye disease.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition is provided comprising cyclosporin A at a concentration from about 0.0001% (w/v) to less than about 0.05% (w/v). The composition is topically administered to eyes to treat ocular rosacea of mammals. The pharmaceutical composition does not contain hyaluronic acid, alcohol, cyclodextrin A or the like, and is administered once a day. |
