PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical equipment having an open state and a closed state and having operation switches arranged on the outside, and capable of preventing malfunctions without impairing operability.SOLUTION: Electrical equipment comprises: a body part 1; a lid body 2 openably and closably attached to the body part 1; a detection part 56 for detecting an open or closed state of the lid body with respect to the body part; operation switches 6 provided in a place operable when the lid body of the electrical equipment is in the closed state with respect to the body part; and a main CPU 10a acting as a control section which exerts control so as to switch between a state enabling the operation for the operation switches and a state disabling the operation for the operation switches and to execute an action depending upon the operation in the state enabling the operation for the operation switches. The main CPU disables the operation for the operation switches in a first period in which the lid body is in the open state with respect to the body part and in a second period which includes the time the lid body transitions from the open state to the closed position with respect to the body part. |
