PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce acoustic noise while obtaining a high degree of freedom in circuit design in a multilayer capacitor.SOLUTION: A multilayer capacitor includes: a laminated body 10 including a stack of a plurality of dielectric layers and having a rectangular parallelepiped shape having six surfaces, a first surface that is a mounting surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, a third surface and a fourth surface orthogonal to the first surface and the second surface and faced to each other, and a fifth surface and a sixth surface orthogonal to the first surface to the fourth surface and faced to each other; capacitance portions 11a and 12a faced to each other with the dielectric layers interposed therebetween in the laminated body 10; a plurality of capacitor electrodes 11 and 12 having extended portions 11b and 12b extended from the capacitance portions 11a and 12a to at least one surface of the laminated body 10; and a first external electrode 15 and a second external electrode 16 disposed at least one surface of the laminated body 10 and connected to extended portions 11b and 12b, respectively. When the gap dimension from the first surface to the capacitance portions 11a and 12a is G1, and the gap dimension from the second surface to the capacitance portions 11a and 12a is G2, the following formula is satisfied: G1>G2. |
