PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably convey and discharge an adhesive label without causing conveyance failure with time after adhesive strength is exhibited.SOLUTION: There is provided an adhesive strength exhibiting unit which comprises: a thermal head which heats an adhesive label 10 conveyed along a conveyance direction F from an adhesive layer 13 side to form a hole in a functional layer 14 by heating elements and expose the adhesive layer; a control part for independently applying thermal energy to the heating elements to control the heating; and a discharge mechanism for conveying the adhesive label to a discharge position located at the downstream side while holding the adhesive label between a first discharge body and a second discharge body 52. The control part applies thermal energy to the heating elements so that a hole is formed and an adhesive strength non-exhibiting region 45 in which the functional layer continuously extends along the conveyance direction from a downstream end 10a of the adhesive label is formed. The second discharge body has a discharge roller 56 which holds the adhesive label between it and the first discharge body via the adhesive strength non-exhibiting region and relatively travels on the adhesive strength non-exhibiting region according to the conveyance of the adhesive label.
