PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve frequency temperature characteristics of a face shear vibrator.SOLUTION: A face shear vibrator 10 includes a plate-like crystal piece 20 and electrodes 30a, 30b provided on both surfaces of the crystal piece 20. The crystal piece 20 has a plate plane 21 formed by rotating a plane perpendicular to an X axis around a Y axis by 40-60°, a long side having a length in a direction rotated by 35-55° from the Y axis in the plate plane 21, and a short side 23 having a length in a direction perpendicular to the long side 22 in the center of the long side 22 in the plate plane 21. The electrodes 30a, 30b are made of Mo or Al. |
