PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube expansion apparatus capable of expanding an end of a heat-transfer tube under the state of holding an end surface of the heat-transfer tube and a surface of a tube plate in such a manner that they are substantially flush with each other, and capable of preventing tube expansion previously when the tube expansion goes beyond an allowable range.SOLUTION: A tube expansion apparatus includes: a tube expansion driving device 10 that can expand an end 2a of a heat-transfer tube; a position detection sensor 18 that outputs a normal signal A when an axial interval between an end surface 2b of the heat-transfer tube and a surface 1b of a tube plate falls within a preset range; and an interlock circuit 20 that enables the end 2a of the heat-transfer tube to be expanded by the tube expansion driving device 10, only when the normal signal A is output. |
