PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device in which temperature stress in electric components is reduced while suppressing flicker and going-out of an electric discharge lamp, a lighting fixture and a vehicle using the same.SOLUTION: An electric discharge lamp-lighting device A1 comprises: a DC-DC conversion circuit 2 which converts voltage of a DC power source 1 to output DC power; an inverter circuit 3 which converts the DC power into alternating power to be supplied to an electric discharge lamp 12; an output feedback control circuit 5 which controls the DC-DC conversion circuit 2; and an inverter drive signal generation circuit 6 which controls the inverter circuit 3. In addition, the electric discharge lamp-lighting device A1 comprises: a microcomputer 100 which has a voltage detection function for detecting a voltage value of the DC power source 1; and a ballast temperature detection circuit 10 which detects device temperature. Then, the microcomputer 100 sets a first time according to the voltage value of the DC power source 1 and a detection result of the ballast temperature detection circuit 10, and when the first time elapses from a start of lighting, reduces supply power to the electric discharge lamp 12 to supply stable power. |
