PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent microscope that restricts accumulation of heat around the incident port of a wave guide.SOLUTION: A fluorescent microscope according to the invention comprises: a lamp housing 101 accommodating a xenon lamp 104; an objective lens 109; a liquid light guide 102 configured to guide light from the xenon lamp 104 toward the objective lens 109; a condenser lens 106 configured to condense light from the xenon lamp 104 onto the end face of the liquid light guide 102; a holding section 110 configured to fix the liquid light guide 102 at the lamp housing 101; a vent 119a configured to take heat from the periphery of the incident port of the liquid light guide 102 toward the lamp housing 101; and a fan 111 configured to discharge heat, passed through the vent 109a, out of the lamp housing 101.
