PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tool exchanger of a machine tool, in which a tool magazine structure is simplified.SOLUTION: In an automatic tool exchanger 5, tool hands 41 and 42 are supported by a support plate 20, and when a main spindle 10 moves linearly in an axial direction L, an applied linear motion is transmitted to the tool hands 41 and 42 through a transfer mechanism. Consequently, the tool hands 41 and 42 move between a first delivery position W1 of a tool holder 9 with the main spindle 10, and a second delivery position W2 of the tool holder 9 with a tool magazine 3, and perform opening and closing operations. Therefore, on a tool magazine 3 side, there is no need to dispose a tool hand for performing complicated operations of delivering the tool holder 9 between the main spindle 10 and the tool magazine 3. Accordingly, the tool magazine 3 structure is simplified. |
